As-Home is the modern property platform Egypt has been waiting for: one place for vacation homes, hotels, and real estate, with verified hosts, transparent pricing, and the kind of design polish you'd expect anywhere in the world.
One platform for the three ways Egyptians use property.
If you've ever tried to book a chalet in Sahel through a Facebook group, you know the feeling. Screenshots of a property someone might not actually own. Prices that change between messages. A WhatsApp number you have to trust with a deposit. And when something goes wrong — and it does — there's no one to call.
This isn't because Egypt lacks great places to stay or great hosts. It's because the country has been served by tools that were either built somewhere else for someone else, or thrown together as classifieds with no real protection on either side. Egyptians deserve better infrastructure than they've been given.
As-Home was started in May 2025 by Egyptian operators living in London at the time — close to a global property tech ecosystem, far enough from Cairo to see the market with fresh eyes. We spent a year building quietly: studying how Egyptians actually search, list, and book; rebuilding the product more times than we'd like to admit; talking to hosts, agents, hotel managers, and guests until the friction points were clear.
We launched in June 2026 with one platform for the three ways Egyptians actually use property. A chalet you book for a long weekend. A hotel you book for a business trip. An apartment you buy or rent for life. Three product lines, one experience, one account, one standard of trust.
We're independent, self-funded, and Egyptian-operated. Every line of code, every listing, every decision is made by a small team that knows the market because we are the market. That isn't a marketing line — it's the operating reality, and it's what lets us move faster and care more than platforms built three flights away.
We are not the biggest property platform in Egypt yet. We are the most considered one. We intend to earn the rest.

Homes, not listings.
Every property on As-Home is a real place where real people host or live. We verify, curate, and stand behind every one — and we'd rather have fewer listings we believe in than thousands we can't vouch for.
Trust before scale.
Every host is verified. Every listing is reviewed. Every payment is secured. We grow by adding hosts we trust, not by importing every Facebook ad we can find.
Egypt first, properly.
EGP-native pricing, Arabic-first interfaces, Egyptian payment methods, and a team that understands the local market. Not a translated version of a foreign platform — a platform built for the way property actually works here.
Design as respect.
A property is one of the biggest decisions a person makes. The tools to find, book, or list one should feel as considered as the decision itself. We obsess over the details because they signal whether we take this seriously.
National in ambition, focused in execution.
We launched with strength on the Red Sea — Egypt's most demanding property market, where every weekend is high season and every booking has to work. From there we're expanding inland and across the coast. If the platform works in Hurghada, it works anywhere.
