PhotoSomabay (Soma Bay) is a resort destination on Egypt's Red Sea coast, south of Hurghada. Its operator describes it as ten million square metres surrounded by the sea on three sides, about a 20-minute drive from Hurghada International Airport. According to somabay.com the destination has an 18-hole championship golf course with a Gary Player signature, a par-3 course, a marina, The Cascades spa and thalasso, and hotels including Kempinski, Sheraton, Robinson, The Breakers and The Cascades, along with schools and dining and retail areas. Residential property is sold by neighbourhood. The developer's availability sheet of 5 October 2026 (Abu Soma Development, "ATS" list) shows 260 units available to sell across 17 neighbourhoods: Arc of Soma (Lagoon Edition cabanas), Bay West Valley (apartments, penthouses, villas and twin villas), Blanca (apartments and Grand Cabanas), Blanca Villas, Blanca Gardens 1 and 2 and Blanca Gardens Collection (chalets, twin chalets and penthouses), CORAL Coves (apartments, terrace chalets and villas), Golf Town Marina Edition (one- and two-bedroom chalets), Mazeej (chalets and penthouses), Mesca 4, Mesca 6, Mesca Edition and Mesca Golf Edition, Nautilus (Prime, Signature and V4n bay villas), Reef Town (garden apartments and ground-floor chalets) and Wadi Soma (villas, patio twin villas and two-storey lodges). On that sheet, prices on the 8-year plan run from EGP 14,700,000 (a one-bedroom chalet in Blanca Gardens Collection) to EGP 170,000,000 (a four-bedroom Wadi Soma villa). The plan is a 5% down payment, a further 5% after three months and 31 equal quarterly instalments; the sheet also gives a cash price for each unit, 30% below the plan price. Unit areas on the sheet are gross areas. Delivery dates are not given on the sheet and vary by neighbourhood.
