When am I charged?

Not when you send a booking request. You pick dates and request the unit, the host reviews it, and payment happens after the host confirms. Some listings support instant booking, where confirmation and payment happen together.

Can I cancel?

Cancellation terms are set by each host and shown on the listing page before you book. Check them on the unit you are booking, since they differ between listings.

Are the hosts verified?

Every host goes through identity verification before a listing goes live, and each listing page shows the host's verification status.
