Vacation Homes in Alexandria

Staying in Alexandria

Alexandria is a working city with a beach season attached, so unlike the compound coasts it has inventory outside the summer months as well.

Prices are per night in Egyptian pounds and include taxes and charges.

Common questions

How do I pay for a stay?

By card, in Egyptian pounds, through Paymob. As-home does not take deposits over WhatsApp or bank transfer to an individual.

Is the price I see the price I pay?

Yes. Nightly rates are shown including taxes and charges, and the total on the booking screen is the amount charged. Add your dates to see the exact total, because rates vary by season.

When am I charged?

Not when you send a booking request. You pick dates and request the unit, the host reviews it, and payment happens after the host confirms. Some listings support instant booking, where confirmation and payment happen together.

Can I cancel?

Cancellation terms are set by each host and shown on the listing page before you book. Check them on the unit you are booking, since they differ between listings.

Are the hosts verified?

Every host goes through identity verification before a listing goes live, and each listing page shows the host's verification status.
