Almaza Bay Ras Soma is Travco Properties' Red Sea resort destination on the bay of Ras Abu Soma, near Safaga and about 55 km south of Hurghada International Airport, next to the Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma. Travco Properties, the real estate arm of Travco Group, launched Ras Soma in 2022 after Almaza Bay on the North Coast; its website gives the destination as about 2.6 million m² with more than 1,100 residential units across Phases 1 and 2. According to the developer, it has a 1.3 km sandy beach, a marina, beach clubs, the Oasis Lagoon Park and Wadi Park, The Village and The Town, restaurants, wellness and sports facilities. Ras Soma Residences Phase 1 includes The Lake Villas (Shore Villas set around a lake close to the shoreline), Beach Villas, Beachfront Villas, Quad Chalets and The Condos, an apartment enclave a few minutes from The Village, the marina and the beach, planned around walking and electric mobility. Phase 2, Marina Gate, adds one-story villas, twin villas, townhouses, hexagonal Hexa Homes duplexes and penthouses, and apartment buildings. The developer's availability list of 21 October 2026 covers Marina Gate studios and one- to three-bedroom apartments of 46–145 m², Hexa Homes duplexes of 137–142 m² with gardens, 171 m² townhouses, 188 m² twin villas and 198 m² one-story villas, The Condos two- and three-bedroom apartments of 118–173 m², and Lake Villas and Beach Villas of about 200 and 237 m². A Marina Gate price release of 26 October 2026 adds middle townhouses (148 m²) and Hexa Homes penthouses (149 m²) and gives roof-terrace sizes. Travco Properties' payment plan is a 5% down payment, a further 5% after 3 months and the balance over 7 years, plus 5% maintenance. No delivery date has been published.
