PhotoMakadina is a residential resort community by Travco Properties, the real estate arm of Travco Group, in Madinat Makadi on Makadi Bay, south of Hurghada on the Red Sea. According to the developer, the master plan covers about 2.2 million m² (515 feddan) with around 2,500 units and a built footprint of about 10%; Phase 1 covers about 400,000 m² (90 feddan), of which about 25,000 m² are lagoons. Units are delivered fully finished and fully serviced. The developer highlights a 4 km crystal lagoon, free beach access and the 18-hole championship golf course of Madinat Makadi, which Travco Group describes as the longest in the region (6,880 m), alongside a 9-hole par-3 course. Makadi Water World, Makadi Mall and the Jaz Makadina and Steigenberger Makadi hotels are part of the same destination, which Travco Group says has about ten hotels. The Phase 01 availability list of 21 October 2026 covers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments of 74–146 m² in buildings C-20, C-23 and C-24 (ground-floor units with private gardens, first-floor and second-floor units), townhouses of 115 and 144 m², 144 m² twin houses and four standalone villa models (Villa C 149 m², Villa D 160 m², Villa A 221 m² and Villa B 233 m²). Travco Properties' payment plan is a 10% down payment, 10% on delivery and the balance in instalments over up to 8 years, with a 5% maintenance deposit. The developer has not published a delivery date.
